About our organization
Our story
Our story began in 2019 as a local community-based initiative. Today, we are a nationally registered non-governmental organization serving across Uganda.
The needs are great — but our God is greater.
We invite you to partner with us in whatever way the Holy Spirit leads — through prayer, resources, gifts, or connections. Whether it’s a Bible, a school uniform, a business idea, or your time — everything makes a difference.
Who We Are
We are a Christ-centered humanitarian organization founded by Pastor Derrick Magala, a Ugandan native with a powerful testimony of hope and transformation. Growing up on the streets, Pastor Derrick experienced firsthand the hardships of poverty and abandonment. But through the grace of God and the kindness of others, he encountered the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.

Moved by compassion, he began serving others — feeding the hungry, reaching out to the vulnerable, and bringing humanitarian relief to those in need. What began as a response to suffering has grown into a movement of faith, healing, and restoration across Uganda.
Today, Pastor Derrick is faithfully implementing the vision God placed on his heart: to transform communities through love, service, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. All good things come from God, the great I AM — and His Spirit is moving across Africa.
