Restoring Hope Through Education

At Salvation for All Charity Organization Uganda, we have seen how education can change the course of a child’s life. It does more than teach—it opens doors, restores dignity, and gives hope for a better future.

But in the Busoga region, that opportunity is not guaranteed.

For many children, missing school is not a choice. It is the result of deeper struggles—losing parents, growing up in extreme poverty, or simply lacking basic school materials. Some families cannot afford even the most essential requirements. As a result, many children fall behind, and too many eventually drop out altogether.

This is the reality.
But it doesn’t have to remain this way.

A Chance to Learn, A Chance to Dream

Each school year is divided into three terms, and every term matters. Missing even one can set a child back significantly.

Through our Back to School Program, we support more than 500 children every term. We make sure they return to school on time, prepared and confident, with the materials they need to learn.

Our focus is on children in government schools, where resources are limited and the challenges are greatest. These are children who are eager to learn but often held back by circumstances beyond their control.

Because no child should stay home simply because they are poor.
